Aux Prés

Paris, yapilariyla, muzeleriyle, kopruleriyle unlu oldugu kadar restorantlari ve bu restorantlari var eden sefleriyle de unlu bir sehir. Hatta bu sefler o kadar unlu ki instagram hesaplari binlerce kisi tarafindan takip ediliyor. Onlardan birisi de yildizli, daha 3 restorantini ve 2 adet pastanesini acmadan televizyon dunyasinin unlu sefi haline gelen Cyril Lignac. Gectigimiz gunlerde Saint Germain des Prés’nin kült adreslerinden biri haline gelen “Aux Prés” yi deneyimleme firsatimiz oldu. Bu deneyimimi de sizlerle paylasmak isterim. Acildigi 50li yillardan beri unlu aktorleri, yazarlari, sarkicilari ve politikacilari agirlayan bu guzel mekan “Aux Prés” adiyla 2011 yilinda gunumuzun ve sol yakanin bistro krali diye adlandirilan Cyril Lignac tarafindan tekrar hayata donduruluyor. Bu kisa bilgiden sonra masaya gecebilir miyiz ?

Paris is not only famous with its buildings, monuments and museums, but also for its restaurants and the chefs who make those restaurants remarkable. These chefs are so famous that their instagram accounts are followed by thousands of people. One of those is starry Cyril Lignac who has been already know on tv before he opened his 3 restaurants and 2 patisseries. In the previous days we had a chance to try one of his restaurant “Aux Prés” which is quite cult address locates in Saint Germain des Prés and I want to share this experience here with you. Since it’s opening around 50s, Claude Sainlouis hosts many famous faces such as singers, politicians, writers, actors and actresses. In 2011 with its new name “Aux Prés” was brought into the world by the king of bistros on the capital’s left bank Cyril Lignac. After this short intro, à table ? 

IMG_9581Menu fiyatlari kesinlikle yediginiz yemegin kalitesini hak edecek degerde. Fakat sarap menusu ayni seyi soyleyemecegim. Her butceye uygun sarap olsada  gibi eger ozel bir sey icmek isterseniz mesela bizim ismarladigimiz Korsika sarabi gibi (yaklasik sisesi 60 euro)  hesabin biraz kabarik gelecegini soylemek isterim.

Prices of the menus are not expensive according to the quality of the food. But I can not say the same thing for the wine menu. Although there is a wine selection for every budget, still if you want to drink something a bit particular like the one we drunk from Corsica (around 60 euros per bottle) , the end of the night will be a bit expensive.

Ilk once Aperitif  lutfen ! Kokteyl menusuyle de hayli iddiali olan Aux Prés’ nin rosé ve rosé sampanyasiyla yapilan spiritzini denemnizi kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

But first aperitif please ! Aux Prés is as assertive as their cocktail menu. I higly suggest you try their special spritz made of rosé and rosé champagne.

Karides, istiridye ve deniz taragindan olusan baslangic tabagi. Menuler sezonluk oldugundan her seyin en tazesini sizlere sunmaya ozen gosteriyorlar.

The starter includes prawns, oyster and clams. As the menus are seasonal, they are trying to take attention of the freshness of the plates.

Yesil limonlu sargos seviçesi ve citir sebzeler bir diger baslangic tabagi.

Ceviche of sea bream in lime and crisp vegetables is an another starter.

Benim ana yemek tercihim satay sosuyla sotelenmis ciftlik tavugundan olusan bu gurme tacostu. Sebzelerin tavukla birlesimi cok basariliydi, sogan halkalari kizartilmis olmalarina ragmen agzinizda yogun bir yag tadi hissetmemeniz ve ekmegin tazeligi cok basarili.

My main dish was tacos filled with farmhouse chicken from Les Landes roasted in satay sauce. The selection of the herbs was  in coordination with the chicken. Plus, even though the onion rings were fried, I never felt strong greasy taste in my mouth, lastly the bread was very fresh.

Bir diger ana yemek tercihi; stracciatella peyniriyle birlikte baharatli domates sosunda pisirilmis dana eti ve firinlanmis sebzeler.

Another main dish choice; veal cooked in spicy tomato sauce with stracciatella cheese and oven-baked vegetables.

Son olarak gecenin yildizi fistikli dondurma ile servis edilen kirazli fransiz tostu. Yumurtayla aram cok iyi olmadigindan tereddut ettim fakat ilk kasiktan sonra bu kararimdan pisman kaldigim muhtesem bir yaz tatlisi !

Lastly, star of the night French toast with cherries with pistachio ice-cream. As I’m not a big fan of egg, at the beginning I hesitated to order or not but after first bite I realised that it was a great idea, this is an excellent summer taste !

  1. Ne guzel deneyimler yasiyorsunuz tatli sehrinizde ! Benim de listemde olan restoranlardan biriydi hatta hemen kontrol ettim yanilmis olmamak icin :)) Tavuk yemeyi oyle cok ozledim ki ! Senin ana yemek tercihin sanirim benimki de olurdu.. 🙂 Afiyet olsun tatli kadinim… x
